Humboldt State's Wood to retire

Tom Wood, the Head Coach at DII Humboldt State has announced his retirement effective at the end of the season. The 62 year-old Wood has been at the helm at HSU for the past 29 seasons leading the Lumberjacks to a 453-348 record and 10 NCAA Tournament appearances. Assistant Coach Steve Kinder, who has been an assistant at the school for the past 19 seasons should be the leading contender to replace Wood.
