Description: The University at Albany, a member of the America East and Northeast (football only) Conferences, invites applications for a full-time (12-month) Division I Assistant Coach - Head Coach of Strength and Conditioning (primarily for Football and Basketball). The successful candidate will assist in all areas of the intercollegiate strength & conditioning program (primarily football and basketball) while developing, implementing and evaluating strength, speed, and conditioning programs. Duties include teaching Olympic movements, speed and acceleration techniques, agility drills, flexibility techniques, and sport specific strength and conditioning. The successful candidate will also evaluate athletes to determine problem areas (weaknesses, imbalances, inflexibility) and design corrective programs, including reconditioning programs for injured athletes.
