Mount Mercy is currently accepting applications for a Graduate Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach in a competitive NAIA program.
Responsibilities include recruitment of student athletes. An educational background working with high school or college students is preferred. Preference will be given to candidates with coaching and/or playing experience and an ability to demonstrate a commitment to high academic standards.
The successful candidate must also demonstrate a willingness to support Mount Mercy’s mission as a Catholic university providing student-focused education in the spirit of the Sisters of Mercy. Mount Mercy University welcomes those of different faiths and is committed to excellence in education and community service.
This assistantship requires that the successful candidate be accepted and enroll in one of Mount Mercy’s master’s degree programs. The position offers a stipend and requires 20 hours per week at our main campus in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
