| Description: | Responsible to the Head Men's Basketball Coach and the Director of Athletics. The person will assist in developing and coordinating a program that is highly competitive in Division III along with following the standards and guidelines established by the Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and NCAA Division III. 1. Assist the Head Men's Basketball Coach in student-athlete skill development and teaching and motivating techniques. 2. Assist in the supervision and development of practice and game sessions. 3. Assist in the recruiting of student-athletes. 4. Assist in the development and supervision of an out of season strength and conditioning program. 5. Assume responsibility for the implementation of the junior varsity program. 6. Attend staff development opportunities and coaches meetings. 7. Assist in fund raising activities for the men's basketball program. 8. Assist in the basketball camps and clinics. 9. Follow the mission and beliefs of the Athletic Department and Central College. 10. Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude. 11. Must be open and adaptable to change. 12. Must work cooperatively and respectfully with the people you work with. 13. Perform other related duties as assigned. |
