| Description: | Grays Harbor College is accepting applications for a Head Men’s Basketball Coach. This position works with the Director of Athletics, NWAACC athletic commissioners and campus departments to ensure compliance with all NWAACC rules and regulations in areas including but not limited to: recruiting, eligibility, schedules and travel and preparing athletes for competition. Teaching basketball skills and strategies and preparing the team for competition Conducting the basketball program in accordance with established conference rules and regulations and keeping updated on all eligibility rules and regulations Supervising players and coaches Scouting andrecruiting quality student-athletes Arranging season schedule in cooperation with Director of Athletics Ensuring proper condition of equipment and gyms Planning and conducting practices Proposing budget and monitoring expenditures Completion and processing of appropriate paperwork Actively Aid in monitoring and supporting the academic endeavors of the student-athletes Work cooperatively with other GHC coaches and attend department meetings as requested |
