Former St. Louis head coach Charlie Spoonhour passed away this morning, he was 72. In his 19 years as a DI head coach (St. Louis, UNLV, Missouri State), he amassed 373 career wins. He guided SLU to three NCAA tournaments in the 1990's. He had a lung transplant in 2010, and had been in and out of treatment since then.
